上週日在匯點教會內，你應該會看到很多“快樂面孔”到處奔跑，以他們自我創造的旗幟為教會賣旗籌款。我們KFC的孩子們總共籌得950美元，他們的父母對這個成果都感到非常驚訝。我想知道你們當中若有人拍下他們賣旗的照片，可否將它們傳送給我們，讓我們可以把它們放在網站上。
我們的總承建商和他的團隊正在加強我們新堂結構的防震功能。在此之後，他們將開始建造我們的敬拜中心和各房間，也為我們的屋頂漏水修補工程取得報價，預期會在5月28日完成。相信我們都知道建設預算為1.55百萬，除已經承諾的奉獻金額以外，我們還需要額外40萬。現在我們的國家正在一個非常艱難的時期，但郤可以讓我們見證上帝的力量和榮耀，而並不是人的功勞！我們對神的信心和愛主耶穌基督的心將要受到重大考驗。我們都需要學習犧牲和依靠上帝供給我們每天的需要。我看到有人已獻出他的退休基金，有人獻出了她的社會安全利益補貼，有人用他的信用額作奉獻，這都令我十分感動。
"弟兄們，我把神賜給馬其頓眾教會的恩告訴你們，就是他們在患難中受大試煉的時候，仍有滿足的快樂，在極窮之間還格外顯出他們樂捐的厚恩。我可以證明，他們是按著力量，而且也過了力量，自己甘心樂意的捐助，再三的求我們，准他們在這供給聖徒的恩情上有分；並且他們所做的，不但照我們所想望的，更照神的旨意先把自己獻給主，又歸附了我們。因此我勸提多，既然在你們中間開辦這慈惠的事，就當辦成了。" 林後8:1-6

Progress
1. GC has obtained the building permit on 3/20
2. Submitted the design to the City for plan check on 3/25
3. GC is still working on the contract and finalize the base price, expecting to finish by 3/26
4. Shear wall X-ray has been done on 3/23
5. Demolition work should be completed by 3/25
6. Requested GC to provide a cost allowance to repair the existing roof leaks
7. Install both burglar alarm and access control system directly with AEC
8. IT/cabling subcontractor selection to be made this week
9. Install a temporary monitorng system with 6-month monitoring service included and extend to 1 year
10. Requested GC to install backing for all the TV locations.
11. Architect has provided us finishes samples including carpert, flooring, ceiling, blind, acoustic panels
12. The substantial completion date is moved to 5/28, targeting our first-time worship on 5/31
