親愛的匯點人，

教牧同工在這個星期進行了一個十分有果效的退修會。我們研究和評估各種在我們面前的問題，困難和挑戰。感謝神的帶領，我們能夠作出最重要的決定，以推動匯點教會進入2010年。

與此同時，我們已開始聘請牧師的程序。事實上，我們一直在尋找英文部牧師和青年部牧師。正當我們在禱告等候神的帶領，感謝神為我們立即提供幫助，以即時處理一些程牧師的工作。我們以前的Becoming牧師，賴鍾桂珍師母欣然地接受我們的邀請出任署理couples-zone的牧師。她還承諾會出任明年的B-ministry事工。我們將會在即將舉行的領袖動員大會和會員大會更詳細地分享教會未來的方向和重點。請熱切地為你們的教會和牧師禱告，使我們能夠有效地將資訊整理好，在不久的將來向你溝通整個計劃！如果你還未有參加我們星期天的禱告會，請記下時間和立志參加，逢星期日10am-11am(普通話)，11:30am-12:30pm(粵語)。

這個星期天下午，程牧師和家人的歡送午餐在12:30am開始。分享聚會將於2:00pm在禮堂舉行。希望都會看到大家！

祈禱事項：

1. 請為教牧同工退修會感謝讚美神。求神使他們能夠把神放在他們心裏的感動轉化成可實踐的計劃。
2. 請為在工作，經濟，家庭，個人以及人際關係方面有困難的弟兄姐妹代禱。求神使他們能夠在困難中經歷到神的恩典。求神使我們在困難中仍然能夠感謝讚美神的看顧和保護。
3. 請為教牧同工們代禱，求神使他們能夠更有效的管理他們的時間。求神使他們的身，心，靈都能夠重新得力以至於他們在匯點的事工能夠做的更好。
4. 請為Nomination Committee代禱，他們在本月底就要完成2010年事奉團隊的組合。求神使弟兄姐妹願意一同來事奉和幫忙發展教會的事工。
5. 請為我們的小組事工代禱，我們正在為明年的小組事工尋找小組長和教練。求神使他們能夠看到關懷事工的價值並願意回應神的呼召來加入關懷的事奉。

Dear basic

The pastoral staff had a very fruitful retreat. We examined and evaluated various issues, difficulties and challenges in front of us. Thank God for His leadership that we were able to conclude what would be the most needed to move Crosspoint forward in 2010.

In the mean time, we have initiated the process of calling a pastor. In fact, have been searching for an English pastor and a youth minister for quite sometimes. While we are prayerfully waiting for God’s delivery, we are so thankful for His immediate provision to help taking care some of  Pastor Ching’s work. Our former Pastor of Becoming, Esther Lai has graciously volunteered herself at our invitation to be the acting zone pastor of our couple zone. She also promised to serve at our B ministry next year. We will share with you in a more detail fashion about the direction and focus of the church in the upcoming leadership rally and membership meeting. May I ask you to pray fervently for your church and your pastors so that they would be able to put things together and effectively communicate the plan to you in the near future! If you haven’t decided to join our Sunday prayer meeting, please commit yourself to do so every Sunday from 10-11 (Mandarin) and from 11:30 – 12:30pm (Cantonese).

This Sunday, we will begin our farewell lunch to the Ching’s family at 12:30 and the sharing will begin at 2 in our worship hall. See you all there!

Prayer requests:

1. Praise and thank God for a fruitful staff retreat. Let’s pray that whatever God has laid upon the their heart, they are able to respond and develop a master plan to collaborate with His work for us.
2. Pray for brothers and sisters who are struggling with their job, finance, family, personal and relational issues. Pray that they would experience God’s grace with timely care and comfort in each of their situation. Pray that each of us could still praise and thank God for His watching care and protection.
3. Pray for the pastoral staff that they would learn to manage their time in a more effective way. Pray that each of them will regain their emotional and spiritual strength on a daily basis so that they would carry on their ministry at Crosspoint.
4. Pray for the Nomination Committee as they need to finalize the ministry team for 2010 by the end of this month. Pray that brothers and sisters in Christ would be willing to serve and help develop the ministry of their church.
5. Pray for our small group ministry as we are beginning to look for coaches and leaders for the coming year. Pray that God will help us see the rewarding ministry of care and respond to God’s call on learning to care rather than to be cared.
