親愛的匯點人，

這個星期，潘傳道，鉅叔和程牧師正在渡假，另外新設施還有一些電機和資訊系統在調較中。如果你需要聯絡教會職員或同工，請發電子郵件給我，陳牧師或Jacky Cheng.

在7月31日晚上8時，我們誠意邀請大家到教會的一個見證分享和禱告晚會。大家可能還記得，我們上週有一個令人振奮的建堂奉獻禮。我們知道，你們當中有許多人可能還有一些分享和見證，有關神如何在新堂裝修工程中，觸動你的生命和塑造你的性格。我鼓勵你不只要參加，並且學會透過分享你的思想，經驗和意見來榮耀神。

在本週末，美國福音神學院(American Evangelical Seminary)將有一個牧者輔導培訓課程，在我們的教會舉行。我知道你們當中有些人已經報名參加。讓我們學會關心和幫助每一個在不同生命階段中的困難。我們生活在一個非常艱難的時間。我們需要以愛的行動，使每一個人的生命活得更好！

祈禱事項：

  1. 感謝主的親切關懷，讓我們可以將所有憂慮交託。祈禱讓我們靠著主的恩典，能夠放下重擔和相信神每日在我們生活上的供應。
  2. 為我們的牧者和同工禱告，讓他們可以靠著主的力量得到靈命更新。求神讓他們能專注於他們首要的事。
  3. 為我們的小組組長禱告，他們在小組服事能得到鼓勵和樂趣，並幫助每個組員在小組裡經驗神的愛。
  4. 為我們的聖經研習導師禱告，他們將在下週二開始教學。禱告他們能將教導轉化為生命，讓我們會更像基督。
  5. 為奧巴馬總統禱告，因為政府正面臨巨大的挑戰。為他能作出明智和受人尊敬的決定，領導這個國家回到正確的軌道上。讓我們再成為一個對神敬虔的國家！


Dear Crosspoint basic,

This week, Pastor Justin, uncle Tak and Pastor Ching would be on vacation and our facility is still undergoing some electrical, air-conditioning and IT fine tuning. If you need anything from the church office or the pastoral staff, please email me or Pastor Tim Chan or Jacky Cheng!

On 7/31, we would like to invite all of you coming to church at 8pm for a testimony, sharing and prayer night. As you may recall, we had a long yet uplifting dedication service last week. We know that many of you may have something to share and witness about how God had touched your life and mode your character during the building renovation project. I would like to encourage you not only to attend, but learn to honor  God by sharing your thought, experiences and observations.

This weekend, American Evangelical Seminary will have a pastoral care counseling training held at our church and I know some of you have signed up for the training. Let’s be reminded that we should learn to care and help one another in various seasons of life. We are living in a very tough time. It is our love in action that would make a person’s life feel better!

Prayer requests:

  1. Praise and thank God for His loving care that we could cast all our worries to Him. Pray that by God’s grace, we would be able to let go and trust God’s daily provision to our life.
  2. Pray for the pastoral staff that they would be refreshed in their spirit and re-charged with God’s strength. Pray that they would be able to focus on what they are called to do.
  3. Pray for our small group leaders that they would enjoy ministering to people and help everyone in their group experience God’s love.
  4. Pray for our Bible study teachers as they will begin teaching next Tuesday. Pray that they would be able to teach for life transformation so that we would be more like Christ.
  5. Pray for President Obama as he is facing tons of challenges in his administration. Pray that he would make wise and honorable decisions that he would be able to lead the country back to the right track. Pray that this nation would become a godly nation again!
