親愛的匯點人，

我們搬進新堂已超過三個月。當我們還在適應和享受神的恩典，為我們預備這個新設施的時候，我也請你幫忙歡迎教會的新朋友，包括成人和小朋友。他們是否會再返回敎會，很大程度上取決於所受到的待遇。如果他們覺得自己被忽視或不受歡迎，他們可能就不會回來。我懇請每個匯點人，在這個星期日崇拜後，至少與3個陌生的新朋友交談？

今年的教會增長大會將於10/7星期六在匯點教會舉行。在這個一天的大會中，重點是幫助三藩市灣區的教會和每個信徒了解到本身的屬靈健康狀況。如果你在10/14日前報名參加，敎會的Becoming事工將支付你的費用，其中包括午餐。請於本星期日在接待處登記，或向你的小組組長報名。

如果你的小組內有弟兄姊妹接受了基督，但尚未接受浸禮，請鼓勵他們這樣做。請與潘智翔傳道Pastor Justin Pan聯絡。浸禮的時間在10/18星期日下午2:30 -3:30。謝謝！

祈禱事項：

1. 感謝讚美神每個主日都有新朋友來參觀我們的教會。讓我們歡迎他們和我們一起崇拜並求神使他們能夠感受到神的同在。
2. 請為教會經濟上的需要代禱。求神使所有的基督徒都能夠透過忠心的十一奉獻向神表明我們對祂的愛和信心。
3. 請為每一個zone的領袖們代禱，他們正在籌劃明年的開支預算和事工計劃。求神使他們在計劃前都能夠清楚的了解自己zone的狀況和需要。
4. 請繼續為2010年事奉團隊空缺的事奉崗位代禱，求神感動那些有恩賜的人願意來加入我們的團隊以至於我們能夠用感恩的心為神做更大的事。
5. 請為教牧同工們代禱，他們正在整理教牧同工退修會裏所定的計劃。除此以外，他們還需要因著程牧師的離開分擔更多的責任。求神使他們能夠更有效的管理他們的時間並有從神而來的智慧和力量去計劃他們的事工。

Dear basic

We have moved in to our new facility for over 3 months. While we are still adjusting and enjoying God’s grace for providing us such a nice facility, may I call your attention to help welcome and take care of our new friends, adults and children as well. Whether they would return depends very much on how they had been treated. If they feel that they were ignored, or unwelcome, they won’t come back again. May I ask every Crosspointer greeting at least 3 unfamiliar people before talking to your acquaintances after our Sunday service?

This year’s church development conference will be held at Crosspoint on Sat., 10/17. The special emphasis for this one day program is to help churches in bay area measure its health as a whole and as an individual Christian as well. If you sign up at the church by 10/14, Becoming ministry will pay for you registration which including your lunch. May I ask you to sign up this Sunday at the reception counter or sign up with your small group leader.

If you know anyone in your small group who has accepted Christ but not yet receive baptism, please encourage them to sign up with Pastor Justin. The baptismal service will be on Sunday, 10/18 from 2:30 – 3:30 pm. Thanks!

Prayer requests:

1. Praise and thank God for bringing new friends visiting our church on Sunday. Pray that they would sense the presence of God and feel warmly welcome worshipping with us.
2. Pray for the financial need of the church that we would be faithful in giving our tithe and offering demonstrating our faith and love to our Lord.
3. Pray for our zone leadership as they will begin to plan and budget our ministry for 2010. Pray that each zone and ministry is able to evaluate its status and needs before making any plan and budget planning.
4. Pray for the unfilled position in the 2010 ministry team. Pray that God would move those who are capable and willing to stand up and join the ministry team so that our would be able to move forward doing greater things for our Lord as an appreciation for His grace.
5. Pray for the pastoral staff as they are organizing their thought from their retreat while picking up more responsibility due to Pastor Ching’s departure. Pray that all of them would learn to better manage their time and receive wisdom and strength from heaven for their ministry.
