Dear Crosspoint basic

This past Tuesday, we kicked off our “Little Paul” equipper’s training with 3 groups of 6 people each. In fact, we would have 44 people starting to receive training in these 2 weeks on top of 22 who are in various pilot groups. Praise the Lord that we are equipping a total of 66 people to become a disciple maker! Imagine that if one half of them are able to hook up with a Timothy, we would have about 100 “Timothy” and “Little Paul” by the end of this year. Let’s pray that our good Lord will revive our church through this discipleship endeavor.

We will continue to partner with CGST to have the Bible study on Deuteronomy in April. If you haven’t signed up for the new class, please be remembered that the deadline for those who want to group with Crosspointers will be on 3/25. You may sign up online with CGST or sign up this Sunday at the foyer.

Last night, our prayer ministry taskforce met at my house to discuss how we could help our brothers and sisters in Christ to make Crosspoint a house of prayer. For those small groups who missed our prayer coordinators briefing, please send your group prayer coordinator to a makeup briefing on Sunday, 3/21 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. We will incorporate the Cantonese prayer meeting into it and make this one a public one, so that more people will know how prayer could make a difference in their life.

Prayer requests:

1. Praise and thank God for the kick off of church-wide discipleship training. We have a total of 66 people either going through or beginning to receive equipper training. Pray that the life of these brothers and sisters would be transformed in this process.
2. Pray for the new believers and Christians at Crosspoint who have never be challenged gearing up to experience God on a daily basis. Pray that they would have the desire to have someone, a little Paul to guide them and grow with them in their spiritual walk in the Lord.
3. Pray for our prayer ministry task force (Shirley Pan, Sue Chan and Grace Lee) as they are working on transforming our prayer program into prayer ministry. Pray that they would have the spiritual insights and wisdom in helping our brothers and sisters in Christ to make prayer their lifestyle.
4. Pray for our desire to understand and study the Word of God. Pray that many more Crosspoint folks would take the advantage to sign up for studying the book of Deuteronomy beginning on April 8.
5. Pray for the coaches of our small group that they would be able to support, encourage and mentor their group leaders in building a healthy and strong small group.
