Dear Crosspoint basic

We almost filled our worship center last Thursday for studying the book of Numbers and about one half of the participants were Crosspointers. I believe that it was a good start for preparing the launch of our spiritual health care reform.

Numbers is talking about the roll calls of God’s soldiers for taking over Canaan. Crosspoint, in the same token, is talking about taking over our community from the authority of Satan. We need to recruit and train Christian soldiers to make them strong and capable to win a spiritual warfare! If you have not received a complete discipleship training, we will train and equip you to become Christ’s solders. If you have finished our basic training (101-401) or completed Master Life, we will train and equip you to become corporals and drill sergeants - a “Little Paul.”

This Sat., 1/23 at 9:30 am, we will have a vision sharing to unfold our plan to disciple the whole congregation. May I ask you to pray for God’s grace to revive our church!

On Friday, 1/29 at 8 pm, we will have our first church-wide Concert of Prayer of the year. In addition to praying together, our prayer ministry task force will also share with you what we plan to do to strengthen our prayer ministry. Please mark the date on your calendar and come back to pray with your church folks.

Prayer requests:

  1. Praise and thank God for His work at our church that many brothers and sisters in Christ have committed to study the book of Numbers in these 2 months. Pray that through the learning, we will begin to love the Bible, read the Bible, study the Bible, and apply the Bible.
  2. Pray continuously for Haiti and its victims that they would be able to go through such a difficult time. Pray for the government that they would be willing to pick up their responsibility working closely with all the relief units.
  3. Pray for God’s grace and intervention into our life that we would be able to get rid of our sins and overcome our failures. Pray that we would encourage one another to move forward doing God’s will for our life.
  4. Pray for the candidates of “Little Paul” that they would respond to God’s call for being equipped to help a new Christian or church member to grow spiritually.
  5. Pray for the church members and friends who are under enormous stress from work, study, health, finance hardship, family relationship, etc. Pray that they would see God’s grace and the loving care of our brothers and sisters in Christ.
