We have partnered with Tithe.ly, one of the largest vendors that provide the online offering for churches, to launch a new online giving platform that will make it easy and secure for you to give to Crosspoint Church using Credit/Debit Cards, ACH(a.k.a eCheck) and American Express.
Online giving provides a secure and convenient way to give a one-time contribution, and/or recurring offering.
To give online, begin by selecting the campus you attend.
We acknowledge the use of credit cards as a stewardship tool. While we allow the use of credit cards for tithes and offerings, we strongly encourage the use of direct withdrawal or a debit card rather than a credit card. We do not want to encourage someone to go into debt and pay interest on gifts given to the church.
Online giving comes with a processing cost that the church must pay – about 2%-3% per offering. Due to the fees imposed, we prefer that very large gifts be given by personal checks.
What are the benefits of giving online?
It is very easy to create and manage one time or recurring offerings that fit your lifestyle.
Is Online Giving safe?
Our partner Title.ly is one of the big vendors that offer online giving services for churches. The company follows industrial compliant standards and technologies to handle online transactions.
I don’t want to setup an account. Can I still give online?
Yes. You don’t actually need to have an account in order to give. You just need to type in the information needed every time you want to make a donation.
Can I make a one-time contribution?
Yes. The system allows you to make a one-time contribution.
Can I use my bank’s routing and account numbers to give online, instead of using Credit/Debit cards?
Yes. Look for a “Bank” button at the bottom of the online form where you can switch entering your bank information.
Do I get donor receipt or tax statements?
Yes. As soon as you give via the system, you instantly receive an email with the details of your transaction. Crosspoint will also mail your yearly contribution report for tax purposes.
Are there any fees involved?
You will NOT pay any fees with online giving. Just like every credit card transaction, whether it’s online or in store, there is a charge. The transaction fee costs Crosspoint 30 cents, plus 2.9% if you use Credit/Debit card of your gift amount. (1% for ACH, or 3.5% for AMEX)
For example, if you donate $100, only about $97 is received by Crosspoint Church. The remaining $3 is retained by our vendor as the transaction fee.
Does Crosspoint store my financial information such as credit card numbers?
No. Not interested. We will only use your mailing address and giving amount records for your tax donation receipt.
Can I still use the “traditional” ways to give?
We still accept checks, cash, stocks, and bonds. Offering bags will be passing around during Worship services. Offering box is located at Milpitas.

Please write your check payable to Crosspoint Church of Silicon Valley. You can place the check in any secured offering box around the building. You can also place the check and cash inside the basket during offering time in worship.
